Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Yasushi Kaneko announced at a press conference after a cabinet meeting on the 10th that 22 Japan-linked vessels have newly passed through the Strait of Hormuz. This is the largest exodus on this scale, leaving four Japan-linked vessels remaining in the Persian Gulf. The 22 vessels reportedly transited the strait between the 7th and the 9th.
