Oracle CorporationOracle expands AWS collaboration and adds Quantinuum quantum services, boosting its cloud offerings.
Oracle extended its long-term collaboration with Amazon Web Services to help enterprises run Oracle AI Database workloads on AWS, and separately entered a partnership with Quantinuum to deliver hybrid quantum computing services through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The AWS agreement makes Oracle AI Database services available in 22 AWS regions, aiming to lower friction for large customers already on AWS. The Quantinuum collaboration adds its Helios system to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, giving Oracle a way to serve early hybrid quantum plus AI workloads on its existing high-performance compute and GPU stack. The deals come as Oracle faces strong AI-driven remaining performance obligations alongside planned capital expenditure of up to US$35 billion per year and pressure on free cash flow. The clearest test will be Oracle's upcoming preview and launch of its Oracle Cloud Infrastructure quantum service and future disclosures on Oracle AI Database@AWS adoption.
