Oracle CorporationMassive capex and debt raise, negative free cash flow, and margin compression despite revenue growth.

Oracle's stock fell 19% in the week ending June 27, its steepest weekly drop in 25 years. The sell-off comes as the company's massive bet on artificial intelligence infrastructure has driven capital expenditures up roughly 162% to nearly $56 billion in fiscal year 2026, pushing free cash flow to almost negative $24 billion for the year. Oracle ended May with around $122 billion in long-term debt and plans to raise about $40 billion through debt and equity in fiscal year 2027, including a $20 billion share sale. Despite remaining performance obligations of $638 billion, up 363% year over year, and cloud infrastructure revenue growing 93%, gross margins compressed around five percentage points for the full year. Most Wall Street analysts remain bullish, with 28 of 33 recommending "Buy" and an average price target of $264, implying 78% upside.
