Orange S.A.Orange signs exclusivity for a €3B data center JV with Morrison, contributing assets and expertise

Orange and infrastructure investment firm Morrison have signed an exclusivity agreement to create a data center joint venture in France. The co-controlled venture would target 400 megawatts of capacity, nearly ten times Orange's current capacity, backed by a 3 billion euro investment program. Orange would contribute five major data centers across four French campuses along with its operational expertise, while Morrison would provide infrastructure investment experience and capital. The platform aims to meet accelerating cloud and AI demand with sovereign, low-carbon solutions, and Orange Business would become the exclusive partner for colocation and hosting services. Definitive documentation is expected by the end of 2026, with closing anticipated in the first quarter of 2027.
