Palantir Technologies is offering investors additional growth to offset one of the market's wealthiest valuations. The artificial intelligence software business is worth nearly $442 billion, or 54 times sales, according to a Seeking Alpha analysis. Its recent numbers showed revenue up 93% from a year earlier and an adjusted operating margin of 62%. The best growth was in the U.S. commercial business, where sales soared 149%, while U.S. government revenues grew 90%. U.S. commercial total contracts were a record $2.13 billion, up 153% from a year earlier. The danger is that at 54 times revenue, there is not much opportunity for a major downturn, even with great execution.
