Snap gained 9% on better-than-expected second-quarter earnings, 19% revenue growth to $1.6 billion, and daily active users reaching 493 million. ON Semiconductor climbed 7% after issuing stronger-than-expected third-quarter guidance, forecasting revenue of $1.65 billion to $1.75 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $0.81 to $0.93. Powell Industries fell 14% despite a 158% surge in new orders to $934 million, as its quarterly revenue of $312 million and earnings per share of $1.42 missed estimates.
