PayPal Holdings is pushing PayPal and Venmo deeper into everyday payment occasions through new integrations with Illumia, Nelnet Campus Commerce and TouchNet that let students and families pay college tuition through existing campus portals. The tuition integrations are live at institutions including Butler University, Kansas State University, Michigan State University and Texas Tech University, with more schools expected to join in 2026, extending PayPal's existing college presence built through agreements with the Big Ten and Big 12, Venmo NIL partnerships, college-branded cards and student ambassadors. On the buy now, pay later side, Temu introduced PayPal BNPL in Canada in the second quarter of 2026, expanding availability to eight markets globally, while Home Depot Canada added upstream presentment of PayPal's BNPL options. PayPal is also working to unify Braintree, PayPal Complete Payments and Hyperwallet into a single foundation, which management expects to improve interoperability and expand self-processing capabilities, merchant lending and payouts. Second-quarter total payment volume rose 10% to $486.4 billion, with Venmo and Braintree continuing to deliver mid-teens TPV growth, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2026 EPS moved a cent upward to $5.38 over the past month, implying a 1.3% rise year over year.
