Pfizer IncQ2 earnings beat and raised 2026 revenue guidance

Pfizer raised the midpoint of its full-year 2026 revenue guidance by $500 million to a range of $60.5 billion to $62.5 billion after second-quarter results topped Wall Street expectations. The company reported adjusted earnings of $0.77 per share, above the $0.68 consensus, on revenue of $15.03 billion versus the $14.40 billion estimate. Excluding COVID-19 products Comirnaty and Paxlovid, revenue rose 5% operationally, while launched and acquired products grew 18% operationally. Pfizer reaffirmed its adjusted diluted earnings guidance of $2.80 to $3.00 per share and announced an additional $2.5 billion in anticipated productivity savings to be realized from 2027 through 2029. CEO Albert Bourla cited strong performance from launched and acquired products, momentum in the obesity program, and strength in the oncology portfolio.
