PICC released its 2026 semi-annual report, with net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reaching 36.745 billion yuan in the first half, up 38.5% year on year. Total operating revenue was 355.115 billion yuan, up 9.6% year on year; insurance service revenue was 286.873 billion yuan, up 2.4% year on year. In the property and casualty segment, PICC P&C original insurance premium income was 327.529 billion yuan, up 1.3% year on year, with a market share of 33.3%, underwriting profit of 14.01 billion yuan, up 19.8% year on year, and a combined ratio of 94.5%. In the life and health segment, PICC Life original insurance premium income was 85.156 billion yuan, down 5.9% year on year, but net profit was 13.562 billion yuan, up 97.6% year on year; PICC Health original insurance premium income was 45.55 billion yuan, up 12.0% year on year. On the investment side, total investment income was 66.327 billion yuan, up 59.9% year on year, with a total investment yield of 3.7%. The company plans to distribute an interim cash dividend of 0.11 yuan per share, totaling approximately 4.865 billion yuan.
