Pipistrel, a Textron Inc. company, introduced the Pipistrel Voyager, a next-generation training aircraft, at EAA AirVenture 2026 in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The Voyager is designed to expand flight school capabilities with instrument flight rules training, intentional spin certification, and a ballistic parachute, while maintaining efficiency and a 2026 base price of €240,000. It features a Rotax 912 ULS engine, a maximum takeoff weight of 1,389 pounds, a useful load of 552 pounds, and a maximum range of 740 nautical miles. The aircraft is equipped with the new Garmin AXIS flight display and is expected to enter service in 2027, aligning with anticipated MOSAIC regulations.
