Planet Fitness lowered its full-year guidance after reporting slower-than-expected net member growth and pausing a planned price increase on its Black Card premier membership. The company posted fiscal first-quarter 2026 earnings of $0.74 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.63, while total revenue rose 21.9% to $337.2 million. However, CEO Colleen Keating cited internal and external headwinds during the peak sign-up period, prompting a sharper marketing focus and a broader pricing review. As a result, seven analysts cut fiscal 2026 estimates in the last 60 days, pushing the Zacks Consensus down to $3.22 from $3.38, and fiscal 2027 estimates fell to $3.53 from $3.99. Shares of Planet Fitness have plunged 51.7% year-to-date, trading near five-year lows.
