Ponce Bank has appointed José L. Orengo and Edward Delatorre Jr. to its Board of Directors. Orengo brings more than 30 years of experience in law, philanthropy, and governance, currently serving as Director of Planned Giving for the Archdiocese of New York and as founder of Orengo Law Firm. Delatorre Jr. brings over 40 years of executive leadership in public safety and real estate, recently retiring as Deputy Commissioner of Labor Relations for the New York City Police Department and having founded Alboro Security Corp. The new directors will help guide the bank's strategic direction as it advances initiatives including a public-private partnership with New York City and New York State to expand capital access for small businesses and underserved communities.
