Portillo's IncQ2 earnings miss, lowered full-year EBITDA guidance, and margin pressure from underperforming noncomp units and underpricing inflation.

Portillo's Inc. reported second quarter 2026 revenue of $199 million, a 5.6% year-over-year increase driven by $13.3 million from noncomp restaurants, while same-restaurant sales declined 1.2%. Net income fell 28.8% to $7.2 million, and non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA decreased 0.8% to $29.8 million. The company lowered its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance to $92 million to $96 million and restaurant-level adjusted EBITDA margin guidance to 19.5% to 20.5%, citing underperformance of noncomp units and a decision to underprice inflation. Portillo's also announced an 18% reduction in corporate headquarters personnel and expects $10 million to $15 million in annual run-rate savings from workforce reductions and supply chain efficiencies.
