Purple has launched Netforge, a free suite of 19 browser-based tools for WiFi network planning, deployment, and debugging. Available now at no cost with no sign-up and no data retention, the toolkit consolidates utilities that engineers typically pay a subscription for or assemble from scattered open-source projects into a single browser-based console. The tools span six categories including IP addressing, DNS, WiFi deployment, connectivity, security, and general utilities, and are vendor-agnostic, working alongside networks from Cisco Meraki, HPE Aruba, Ruckus, and Juniper Mist. Designed for both technical and non-technical users, Netforge runs entirely locally in the browser and stores nothing, allowing use on client sites and secure networks without sending data to third parties. The toolkit is built by the same team behind Purple's guest WiFi, captive portals, and location analytics.
