Q-Gold Resources Ltd. announced that its summer 2026 exploration program at the Mine Centre Gold Project returned select grab sample assays of up to 600 g/t gold and advanced multiple high-priority targets for a planned diamond drilling campaign later in 2026. Across more than three field rotations from June through August 2026, the program generated 222 grab samples and 126 channel samples, excluding quality-control samples, combining geological mapping, vein tracing, prospecting, grab sampling and systematic channel sampling across targets north and south of the historic Foley Mine. Select grab samples from the Ferguson Showing returned 600 g/t, 73.4 g/t, 57.8 g/t and 44.0 g/t gold along a northwest-striking vein approximately 500 m southwest of the historic Golden Star Mine, while samples from a quartz vein approximately 1.2 km south of the historic Manhattan Gold Vein Mine returned 46.6 g/t and 34.7 g/t gold, and samples approximately 300 m south of the Foley Mine returned 95.1 g/t and 89.8 g/t gold within the broader Vowel, Jumbo and Bonanza multi-vein systems. Assays have been received for the first two rotations, while all 126 channel sample assays and the remaining third-rotation grab sample assays remain pending. QGold said it is integrating the results with new geological mapping, vein tracing and structural measurements to rank drill targets across North Foley, South Foley, Nugget, Ferguson and Pacitto, with the planned campaign expected to increase drill density around the previously drilled Foley Mine and test select surface targets identified by the 2026 program. Chief Operating Officer Dr. Andreas Rompel said the high-grade grab sample results at Ferguson and South Foley warrant systematic follow-up, and that pending channel assays will be combined with mapping and structural data to prioritize targets for the planned drill campaign.

Nativo signs LoI with Chancery Royalty for La Patona gold plant funding

Nativo Resources has signed a conditional letter of intent with Chancery Royalty for project finance and an equity subscription to complete construction and commissioning of phase one of the La Patona Gold Ore Processing Plant in Acarí, Peru. Under the terms, Nativo is expected to receive $3.5m, or £2.62m, in project finance paid through seven equal monthly instalments of $500,000 each, with the first instalment due no later than 31 December 2026 subject to definitive documentation. A separate equity subscription valued at £600,000 will be completed in two stages: a first tranche of 142,857,143 new ordinary shares at 0.21p each to raise £300,000, expected to complete 60 days after the agreement, and a second tranche of an identical number of shares to be settled by the end of September 2026, together granting the new investors a combined 17.4% stake in Nativo's enlarged issued share capital. In return, Chancery will receive a 6% gross revenue share on gold produced at La Patona until receipts equal 3,034 troy ounces of gold. Nativo CEO Stephen Birrell said the agreement provides a clear and fully funded pathway to complete construction and commissioning of La Patona Phase 1, and the company expects the 70 tonnes per day plant to take approximately five to six months to build and commission once resumed, with commissioning targeted for the second quarter of 2027 and future expansions to 350 tonnes per day funded from phase one cash flow.

Silver Rises to Near $66 as US 10-Year Yield Slips to 4.93%

Silver climbed for a second straight session to around $65.80 per troy ounce as falling oil prices eased inflation concerns and pulled US Treasury yields lower. Crude declined after news that Saudi Arabia was working to restore flows through its East-West pipeline, while attention also turned to upcoming meetings between US President Donald Trump and Gulf leaders. The benchmark 10-year Treasury yield fell to about 4.93% after briefly breaching 5.0% earlier in the week, with Societe Generale strategists citing lower oil and gas prices and Axios reporting that the US plans to resume negotiations over Iran with Gulf States next week. Fed Chair Kevin Warsh struck a hawkish tone, saying inflation has remained too high for too long and that summer data showed no meaningful structural improvement. Following his remarks, the CME FedWatch tool showed traders pricing a 53.1% probability of another rate hike at the Fed's October meeting, up from 44% the previous day.
