Qualcomm has struck a long-term framework under which Amazon could purchase as much as $60 billion of its AI data-center products, Reuters reported. The two companies plan to work together on customized inference chips and optical connectivity capable of reaching 1.6 terabits per second. Purchase-linked warrants could give Amazon roughly $4 billion of Qualcomm equity at an exercise price of $161.26 per share, an incentive worth about 6.7% of the framework's maximum potential purchases. Neither company disclosed a minimum purchasing commitment, a firm delivery schedule or the margins Qualcomm could earn. Qualcomm shares rose approximately 0.75% to $189.19 Wednesday morning, a 7.63% premium to the GuruFocus GF Value estimate of $175.78.
