Questex has announced the launch of Fierce Pharma Week Europe, a new annual event for the pharmaceutical industry, with its inaugural edition set for June 28–30, 2027, in Basel, Switzerland. The event will feature dedicated content tracks across Marketing, Medical Affairs, Commercialization & Market Access, PR & Communications, Competitive Intelligence, and Market Research, aiming to create a single gathering place for cross-functional leaders. Basel was chosen for its position at the heart of Europe's life sciences cluster, home to over 800 life sciences companies and global leaders Novartis and Roche. Questex is partnering with MCH Group for the launch, with MCH Group CEO Roman Imgrüth calling Fierce Pharma Week one of the pharmaceutical industry's flagship events in the United States. The program will address topics such as European drug pricing, the European Commission's new Life Sciences Strategy, and the rise of Chinese biopharma innovation.
