Advanced Micro Devices IncAMD secures a 30MW deployment agreement with Rackspace, driving demand for its AI compute.
Rackspace Technology has entered into a definitive agreement with AMD to deploy an initial 30 megawatts of AMD-based compute across its data centers in phases from late 2026 through 2028. The first deployment of nearly 2 megawatts is targeted for completion by the end of 2026, with capital expenditures of approximately $75 million. Management expects to average $15 million to $20 million in revenue per megawatt deployed, implying $450 million to $600 million in annual revenue at full deployment, and EBITDA margins in the 50% plus range. The company also strengthened its partnership with Palantir and appointed Pranav Nambiar as SVP and GM for AI Infrastructure. Second-quarter GAAP revenue was $670 million, up 1% year-over-year, and full-year revenue guidance of $2.45 billion to $2.55 billion was maintained.
