Rambus reported an 8% year-over-year increase in overall revenue in its most recent quarter, driven by a 15% jump in product revenue that includes its high-performance memory chipsets used in AI data centers. The company forecast product revenue of $98 million for the second quarter, implying 11% sequential growth from the $88 million recorded in the first quarter. CEO Luc Seraphin highlighted the growth of AI inference and agentic workloads as key long-term drivers, with Grand View Research projecting a 17.5% compound annual growth rate for the AI inference market and 46.2% for the agentic AI market through 2030. Rambus has a market capitalization of $13 billion and its stock has risen 25% year to date, while more than quintupling over the past five years.
