Royal Bank of Canada has appointed Sian Hurrell and Robin Beer as Co-CEOs of RBC Europe Limited to accelerate growth across its European operations. Hurrell will retain her role as Head of Capital Markets Europe, while Beer continues as Head of Global Sales & Relationship Management and CEO of RBC Wealth Management Europe. The appointments follow significant investment in the region, including the integration of Brewin Dolphin, which has positioned RBC among the top five U.K. wealth management providers. RBC has over 5,400 employees in 11 European countries and operates through three business lines: RBC BlueBay Asset Management, RBC Capital Markets, and RBC Wealth Management.
