Reddit's advertising revenue surged 64% year over year to $762 million in the second quarter of 2026, outpacing Meta Platforms' 27% growth to $59.4 billion. Reddit's AI-driven ad suite Max saw advertiser usage grow more than 60% from the first quarter and campaign revenues rise over 150%, while scaled channel revenues doubled and active advertisers grew more than 70%. Meta's AI investments boosted ad clicks by 8.3% and conversions by 15.7% on Facebook, and its Advantage+ solutions reached an annual revenue run rate of more than $75 billion. Reddit expects third-quarter revenues between $860 million and $870 million, representing 47% to 49% year-over-year growth, while Meta faces margin pressure from heavy AI infrastructure spending and losses at Reality Labs. Year to date, Reddit shares have fallen 28.4% and Meta shares 13.8%, with Reddit trading at a forward price-to-sales of 7.78 times versus Meta's 5.06 times.
