Oracle CorporationRetail investors have been selling shares of NVIDIA, Microsoft, and Oracle to raise cash for the SpaceX IPO, according to JJ Kinahan, Senior VP of Retail and Alternative Investments at Cboe Global Markets. NVIDIA trades at $200.74, down 6.99% over the past month despite reporting $81.61 billion in revenue, up 85.2% year-over-year. Microsoft sits at $373.79, down 22.33% year-to-date, even as its AI business reached a $37 billion annual run rate, up 123% year-over-year. Oracle trades at $158.06, down 12.3% in the last week, despite $638 billion in remaining performance obligations. Kinahan noted that the SpaceX IPO sparked a liquidation cascade, with the stock setting a record for most options traded on a first day post-IPO before falling back to its IPO price. He also flagged AI repricing risk, pointing to massive capex from Oracle, Microsoft, and Amazon, and said the first stress test comes tonight with Micron's earnings, where options markets are pricing a 13.5% move.
