Revolution Medicines IncPositive Phase 3 pancreatic cancer data for daraxonrasib shows survival benefit vs chemo

Revolution Medicines has seen its stock price soar nearly 140% in 2026 following positive late-stage clinical trial results for its lead candidate daraxonrasib in previously treated metastatic pancreatic cancer. The phase 3 trial showed a survival rate of 13.2 months for daraxonrasib compared to 6.7 months for standard chemotherapy, and the company plans to submit these final results for regulatory review. Revolution is also advancing another candidate, zoldonrasib, in phase 3 trials for the same indication, while daraxonrasib is in phase 3 for non-small cell lung cancer and zoldonrasib is entering phase 3 as a combination therapy. The company remains pre-revenue, with a recent quarterly loss of more than $453 million, but holds $1.9 billion in cash and $2.1 billion in net proceeds from financing to support ongoing research and development. Despite the stock's triple-digit gain, some analysts view Revolution as a compelling buy for growth investors due to its novel tri-complex inhibitor platform targeting RAS proteins and its proximity to potential product approval.
