Riot Platforms has signed a 20-year deal with Anthropic, the company behind Claude, to provide 191 megawatts of data-center capacity at its Rockdale, Texas site, in an agreement worth about $9.1 billion in estimated revenue. The deal could reach approximately $16.1 billion if two five-year extensions are exercised. Riot entered the announcement with a market value of about $7.3 billion and reported total revenue of $647.4 million in 2025. The company had previously signed a data-center contract with Advanced Micro Devices for 25 megawatts, later doubled to 50 megawatts, and reported $33.2 million of data-center revenue in the first quarter. Riot says its Rockdale facility has about 700 megawatts of developed capacity and its portfolio includes almost 2 gigawatts of fully certified power.
