The board has significantly expanded its intake of AI and digital technology talent and announced a full-scale push into its AI digital kitchen appliance strategy. Newly appointed non-independent director Zhou Haixin will oversee the core AI digital kitchen appliance business. Ge Hao is the former chief architect of the Jiutian Central Digital Platform, and newly appointed independent director Zheng Xiaolin is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Zhejiang University's College of Artificial Intelligence. In 2025, Robam Appliances reported total revenue of 10.116 billion yuan, down 9.78 percent year on year, and net profit attributable to shareholders of 1.256 billion yuan, down 20.38 percent. Its AI digital kitchen appliance business generated revenue of 2.35 billion yuan, up 36 percent year on year. However, the selling expense ratio climbed to 28.90 percent in 2025, while research and development spending fell 11.05 percent year on year. Selling expenses reached 7.9 times the size of R&D spending, prompting market skepticism that its AI transformation leans more toward marketing and concept packaging, with core technological barriers yet to be established.
