Northern Data AGNorthern Data is acquired by Rumble in an all-stock deal valued at ~$767M, providing an exit for shareholders.
Rumble, which hosts U.S. President Donald Trump's Truth Social platform, said it will begin operating as RUM Group effective June 18, overseeing a new AI-focused business unit alongside its existing video platform. The move follows the closing of its acquisition of German AI cloud company Northern Data in an all-stock deal valued at roughly $767 million. A newly formed unit called Quake AI will combine assets including about 22,000 Nvidia H100 and H200 graphics processing units across nine data centers. The company's video and media platform brand will continue to be Rumble. CEO Chris Pavlovski said the company now has over 200 MW of unmonetized energy capacity and substantial contracted revenue across Rumble.
