Rumble Inc.Anthropic reportedly signed a six-year $13.7B computing deal with Rumble's Rum Group for data-center capacity at Maysville, Georgia.

Rumble Inc stock jumped 27% to $1.99 Monday after a report said artificial intelligence company Anthropic signed a six-year computing deal worth $13.7 billion with the group. The Information identified the customer, citing a person familiar with the matter; the business, now called Rum Group, had disclosed the contract in August without naming its partner. Under the agreement, the Claude developer would lease capacity at a data center under construction in Maysville, Georgia, and building and equipping that facility with server chips could cost more than $10 billion. An August securities filing showed the owner lacked financing for construction and graphics processing unit purchases at the time, and it expected to cover much of it through additional debt or equity financing. The agreement also gives Anthropic an option to buy up to 51 million shares for $0.01 each, with half of those rights linked to purchases at Maysville and the remainder contingent on buying additional capacity at a separate site, while the delivery timetable remains unclear.
