Salesforce.com IncSalesforce launched Slackforce Surfaces, a new Slackbot-powered in-chat dashboard builder that deepens its AI product ecosystem.

Salesforce pushed Slack deeper into the AI race by turning Slackbot into an interactive content builder, sending its shares up approximately 2.4% to $248.77 and keeping the company just above the $200 billion mega-cap line. The new feature, Slackforce Surfaces, converts workplace conversations and connected data into dashboards, polls, reports, presentations and microsites without forcing users to leave Slack, and teams can edit, share or pin those creations inside channels while existing access permissions remain intact. Surfaces is available to customers including free users with Slackbot enabled, with continuously refreshed data arriving in October. The launch gives Salesforce another way to funnel Slack users toward its expanding AI ecosystem, where Agentforce and Data 360 annual recurring revenue recently approached $3.9 billion, equal to roughly 8.4% of the company's $46.25 billion annual revenue-guidance midpoint. Salesforce's $248.77 share price sits 27% below its $340.76 GF Value estimate, and while Surfaces may strengthen retention and AI adoption, converting free usage into paid demand remains the real test.
