Salesforce is seeing momentum from Slack, where Slackbot users increased more than 150% sequentially in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, while Slack delivered its fastest quarterly net new annual order value growth since Salesforce acquired the platform. During its second-quarter earnings call, the company revealed that upgrades to premium Slack additions tripled after Slackbot launched, and bookings for Agentforce One Edition and Agentforce for Apps more than doubled quarter over quarter. Slack's stronger performance is already supporting Salesforce's results, with second-quarter revenues rising 11% year over year to $11.35 billion and subscription and support revenues increasing 12% to $10.82 billion. Salesforce faces competition from Microsoft, whose fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenues rose 18% year over year to $90 billion, and from Zoom, whose second-quarter fiscal 2027 enterprise revenues increased 7.8% year over year to about $787.5 million. Salesforce shares have declined 3.5% year to date, and the company carries a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).
