Salesforce.com IncStock hit 52-week low despite record results, with uncertainty over AI agent impact on per-seat pricing weighing on valuation.

Salesforce shares have fallen about 40% year to date and recently set a fresh 52-week low, even as the company reported record fiscal first-quarter results. Revenue rose 13% to $11.1 billion, with AI and data products generating $3.4 billion in annual recurring revenue, up roughly 200% from a year earlier, and the Agentforce agentic AI offering alone crossing $1 billion in ARR after more than tripling. Non-GAAP operating margin reached a record 34.8%, free cash flow hit $6.6 billion, and the company returned $27.5 billion to shareholders, including a $25 billion accelerated share repurchase that shrank the share count by about 10%. Management pointed to ongoing weakness in commerce and Tableau businesses and guided for organic revenue growth to reaccelerate in the back half of the fiscal year. The sell-off has pushed Salesforce's forward price-to-earnings ratio to about 12, which some see as attractive, but uncertainty over how AI agents will reshape per-seat software pricing continues to weigh on the stock.
