Surging demand for NAND Flash memory from AI data centers drives revenue and profit growth

Sandisk shares soared 857.8% through the end of June, driven by surging demand for NAND Flash memory from artificial intelligence data centers. The company’s gross profit margins jumped to 78% in the third quarter of 2026, up from 51% a year earlier, as revenue rose 251% to $5.9 billion and earnings swung from a loss of $0.30 per share to a profit of $23.41 per share. Sandisk also signed five multi-year supply agreements with major tech companies, securing $11 billion in guarantees. Analysts expect fourth-quarter sales of $8.4 billion and earnings of $34.12 per share when the company reports on August 5.
