The drug is now approved for nine inflammatory diseases, including a recent expansion into chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, which management sees as a major growth driver given the large patient population. Sanofi expects Dupixent to achieve around €22 billion in sales by 2030, supported by a three-pronged strategy of defending its patent portfolio, extending the product lifecycle with improved dosing, and innovating new molecules.
