Sansure Biotech IncApproval of first freeze-dried nucleic acid test for respiratory infections using AI protein evolution enzyme technology, expanding product portfolio and enabling faster testing.

Sansure Biotech disclosed that its nucleic acid test kit for the novel coronavirus, influenza A virus, influenza B virus, and respiratory syncytial virus recently obtained a Medical Device Registration Certificate from the National Medical Products Administration. This product is Sansure Biotech's first approved freeze-dried nucleic acid test for respiratory infections, and also the first reagent developed based on AI protein evolution enzyme technology, capable of simultaneously detecting four common high-incidence pathogens. The reagent is compatible with Sansure Biotech's molecular point-of-care testing devices, completing the entire process from sample loading to result output in as fast as 12 minutes, and is also compatible with conventional PCR testing platforms, meeting the testing needs of various settings such as emergency departments, primary care, and central laboratories.
