SCG Packaging, or SCGP, reported a 128% year-on-year jump in second-quarter 2026 profit to 2.304 billion baht, driven by rising packaging demand across ASEAN, especially in Vietnam, while its Indonesian business swung back to profit. Total sales revenue came in at 32.454 billion baht, up 3% from a year earlier, and EBITDA reached 5.821 billion baht, a 37% increase. The board approved an interim dividend of 0.40 baht per share, totaling approximately 1.717 billion baht, with the XD date set for 4 August 2026 and payment on 19 August 2026. SCGP also plans to expand corrugated box capacity in Vietnam by 26,800 tonnes per year with a capital expenditure of 748 million baht, with production expected to start in September 2027. The company appointed Mr. Danai Dejkesuwan as its new chief executive officer, effective 1 January 2027.
