SCGP shares closed the morning session at 31.75 baht, up 4.10 percent, hitting a 52-week high. The gains were driven by a second-quarter net profit of 2.30 billion baht, a 128.1 percent increase from a year earlier, thanks to recovering packaging demand, selling price adjustments, and effective cost management. The board approved an interim dividend of 0.40 baht per share, with the XD date on 4 August 2026, the record date on 5 August, and payment on 19 August 2026. Despite the XD date, the share price still rose, reflecting strong buying interest and investor confidence in the second-half outlook, supported by the high season for manufacturing and exports, merger and partnership strategies, and stable raw material and energy costs.
