Seedcamp, Europe's original first check investor, has raised $320 million across two new funds. The raise is split between a $220 million flagship first check fund, Seedcamp VII, and a $100 million Select fund focused on backing portfolio winners through Series B and beyond. The firm, which was the earliest backer of companies including Revolut, Wise, UiPath, Synthesia and Fluidstack, now manages over $1 billion in assets under management. Seedcamp plans to expand its US team to create a transatlantic bridge, helping founders access US capital, hires, and customers from day one. The new funds will target AI and technology applications across science and the physical world, continuing Seedcamp's nearly two-decade track record of investing before a company or theme becomes obvious.
