Semir Apparel disclosed its 2026 interim report. In the first half, it achieved operating revenue of 6.722 billion yuan, up 9.32% year on year, and net profit of 479 million yuan, up 47.45% year on year. Basic earnings per share were 0.18 yuan, and the company plans to pay a cash dividend of 1.5 yuan for every 10 shares. The company said that in the first half it steadily advanced its dual-core, dual-potential, and globalisation strategy, continuing to invest resources in deepening and upgrading the two main brands, Semir and Balabala, in brand building, channel upgrades, and product iteration, while promoting growth in its children's sports brand business and advancing the construction of a multi-tier channel matrix for the MOP brand. Among peers, China Lilang posted first-half operating revenue of 2.065 billion yuan, up 19.5% year on year, but net profit attributable to the parent fell 11.2% to 215 million yuan. ST Ruyi reported first-half operating revenue of 160 million yuan, up 3.4% year on year, with a net loss attributable to the parent of 94 million yuan, narrower than the same period last year. Lancy Company expects first-half net profit attributable to the parent of 65 million to 95 million yuan, down 65.78% to 76.59% year on year, mainly because investment income recognised from the disposal of Ruoyuchen shares fell by about 176 million yuan year on year. National Bureau of Statistics data show that from January to June 2026, total retail sales of consumer goods reached 24.8722 trillion yuan, up 1.3% year on year, of which retail sales of clothing, footwear, hats, and textiles totalled 770.9 billion yuan, up 6.7% year on year.
