NVIDIA CorporationValar's reactor powering Nvidia Blackwell and AI factory deal indicate demand for Nvidia's products.

Valar Atomics has raised $1 billion in equity in a round led by Sequoia partner Shaun Maguire, who joins the board, and secured a $200 million line of credit from Erebor and other banks. Bloomberg reported the nuclear startup’s valuation at $6 billion, though the company did not disclose it. Valar is building small modular reactors and recently demonstrated its Ward 250 reactor powering an Nvidia Blackwell system, alongside a deal with Nvidia to develop a waterless 30MW AI factory. The funding will help Valar move toward manufacturing fleets of its SMRs, with other investors including Apandion Capital, Atreides Management, Conviction, Dream Ventures, HOF Capital, Point72 Ventures, Riot Ventures, Snowpoint Ventures, and Valor Equity Partners.
