The solution will send proactive SMS updates, IVR intercept messages, and enable two-way keyword self-help for service-impacting events, reducing call center volume and keeping customers informed in real time. Shentel Chief Information Officer Elaine Cheng said the technology will integrate seamlessly with current systems to meet customer expectations for simple, automatic communication. GOCare CEO Mike Roddy noted the investment reflects Shentel’s commitment to subscriber experience, with benefits expected immediately for both customers and staff.
