Siemens AktiengesellschaftSiemens expands its partnership with NVIDIA to deliver self-verifying agentic AI for chip and PCB design, enhancing its EDA portfolio.
Siemens announced an expansion of its strategic partnership with NVIDIA to deliver self-verifying agentic AI workflows for semiconductor and printed circuit board design. The new capabilities build on Siemens' Fuse EDA AI Agent system and integrate NVIDIA AI infrastructure to help long-running AI agents reason, act, and continuously validate decisions against physics-based EDA engines. The solution is integrated into Siemens' Intelligence Center X, supporting agent creation and orchestration across design, manufacturing, and supply chain. Siemens says the updates improve result quality, time-to-results, tool-calling reliability, and token efficiency, while enabling secure multi-agent coordination and real-time feedback. The offering spans Siemens' full EDA portfolio, including tools like Catapult, Questa One, Veloce, Solido, Aprisa, Calibre, Tessent, Innovator3D IC, and Xpedition, and has already shown a more than 10X reduction in characterization turnaround time and a 5X to 10X reduction in token costs for custom IC design.
