Siemens Healthineers has appointed João Seabra as President and Head of the Americas, effective October 1, 2026, succeeding John Kowal. Seabra currently leads the company's Enterprise Services unit, where he quadrupled revenue over the past eight years. He joined Siemens Healthineers in 2001 and previously led the Western Europe and West Africa regions. Darleen Caron, Member of the Managing Board and Chief Human Resources Officer, praised Seabra's international leadership experience and customer focus, calling him the ideal candidate to lead the Americas, the company's largest market. Seabra holds a master's degree in computer and electric engineering from Universidade do Porto and will relocate from Portugal to the United States.
