Siemens reported industrial profit of 3.52 billion euros for the third quarter, up 25 percent from a year earlier and a quarterly record. Riding the artificial intelligence investment boom, demand was strong for AI-equipped software and equipment for data centers and factory and building controls, while customer sentiment in aerospace, defense, and machinery manufacturing also improved. Revenue rose 7 percent to 20.79 billion euros, and orders jumped 13 percent to 27.9 billion euros, both beating market expectations, with orders hitting a quarterly record. The full-year earnings per share outlook was raised to 11.20 to 11.50 euros. CEO Roland Busch said industrial AI products are driving growth.
