SK Hynix raised more than $26 billion through the sale of American depositary receipts priced at $149 each. The ADRs opened at $170, a 14% premium to the offer price, before closing their debut session 12.8% higher. Despite the strong U.S. listing, the South Korean chipmaker's shares have remained volatile amid profit-taking following a historic rally, the impact of its blockbuster Nasdaq debut, and broader concerns weighing on the global semiconductor sector. SK Hynix trades at a price-to-earnings ratio of 17.53, among the lowest in the group, compared to AMD at 186.04, Broadcom at 66.57, and Sandisk at 64.5. Its price-to-sales ratio of 9.76 is mid-pack, cheaper than Nvidia at 20.24, Broadcom at 25.09, and AMD at 24.23, but pricier than Micron at 12.2 and much pricier than Qualcomm at 4.58 or Intel at 9.63.
