Skillsoft lowered its fiscal 2027 revenue guidance to a range of $380 million to $390 million from a previous range of $388 million to $406 million, citing accelerating dynamics in its consumer business and the growing impact of AI on coding-related learning demand. The company said it is maintaining its full-year adjusted EBITDA guidance of $108 million to $116 million and free cash flow from continuing operations guidance of $14 million to $22 million. Executive Chairman and CEO Ronald Hovsepian said Skillsoft remains on track to hit its goal of $5 million in platform bookings by the end of this fiscal year, following the completed divestiture of Global Knowledge. For the second quarter, total revenue was $98.2 million, down 2.9% from a year earlier, with dollar retention of 95%, adjusted EBITDA from continuing operations of $33.4 million and a margin of 34%, and a GAAP net loss from continuing operations of $15 million, or $1.67 per share. Chief Financial Officer Ronald Kisling said the company has put governance and an advisory framework in place to address debt maturities, including a special committee of the board and the engagement of experienced advisors, and management also highlighted a planned 95% SKU reduction entering next year.
