SLB announced plans to nearly double its annual digital revenue to $2 billion by 2030, driven by AI adoption that could expand the global digital market to as much as $50 billion by the end of the decade. At its Digital Investor Day, the oilfield services provider also projected an additional $10 billion in annual digital spending by 2030. CFO Stephane Biguet outlined a path to approximately double current adjusted EBITDA for digital to between $1.8 billion and $2 billion by 2030, with margins expanding to a range of 38% to 42% toward the end of the decade. The company is widening digital adoption by expanding connected equipment and data-led services, aiming to increase connected electrical submersible pumps from around 35% to 60% by 2030, boost digital add-ons in formation evaluation operations from roughly 14% to 60%, and raise autonomous drilling from about 3% to 25% over the same period.
