Jiangsu High Hope International Group CorpNet profit swung to a loss due to capital market volatility reducing fair value gains and investment losses.

Soho Huihong released its 2026 interim report on August 27. Operating revenue for the reporting period was 27.062 billion yuan, up 9.06% year on year, but net profit attributable to the parent swung to a loss of 225 million yuan, showing higher revenue without higher profit. The profit decline was mainly due to capital market volatility, which reduced gains from changes in fair value of financial assets by about 656 million yuan year on year, as well as larger investment losses recognized from associates. Net loss after deducting non-recurring items was 91 million yuan, narrower than the same period last year, while selling expenses and administrative expenses fell 5.92% and 15.85% respectively, indicating some recovery in core business profitability. Net cash outflow from operating activities was 1.846 billion yuan, as the company increased procurement of metals and minerals, green boards and other categories, lifting cash paid for goods. The company needs to watch financial asset price fluctuations and capital occupation pressure.
