Solventum Corp.Announced plan to separate Health Information Systems to maximize shareholder value, transforming into a more dedicated MedTech company.

Solventum announced its intention to separate its Health Information Systems business as part of its portfolio optimization strategy. The company will evaluate a range of separation pathways, targeting completion within 12 to 18 months, with the goal of maximizing shareholder value. Health Information Systems is a leading healthcare software business generating $1.4 billion in annual sales, deployed across more than 30 countries and used by over 75% of U.S. hospitals. Solventum believes the separation will transform it into a more dedicated MedTech company focused on MedSurg and Dental Solutions, while enabling Health Information Systems to accelerate its growth agenda as a separate entity. Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs are acting as financial advisors, with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton as legal counsel.
