Sony Life Insurance announced on the 11th that in the matter of sales employees fraudulently receiving money from customers, it has newly emerged that four former employees swindled a total of more than 60 million yen. They received about 21.9 million yen from six customers by urging them to cancel their insurance policies and used the money for personal purposes, and also received about 5.5 million yen from three customers by pitching investment and money-making schemes. Furthermore, it was discovered that a former employee in Chiba Prefecture who had defrauded a customer of 1 million yen had additionally received a total of about 33 million yen from 13 customers.
