SpaceX’s record-breaking IPO and bond offering have raised over $100 billion, with the company planning to deploy most of that capital into artificial intelligence initiatives. The AI focus is critical to justifying SpaceX’s $2 trillion valuation, as more than 90% of its $28.5 trillion total addressable market centers on AI. Two key beneficiaries of this spending are Nvidia and Tesla. SpaceX and its subsidiary xAI are already major Nvidia customers, using over 220,000 GPUs in the Colossus 1 supercomputer, and future data center builds will continue to rely on Nvidia products. Tesla, meanwhile, has sold over $1 billion worth of Megapacks to SpaceX since 2024, including $269 million in April alone, to power data centers that could also advance Tesla’s own AI and autonomous driving ambitions.
