SpaceX has joined an elite group of six other stocks with market capitalizations exceeding $2 trillion, reaching a valuation of $2.16 trillion after its Nasdaq debut. The other members are Nvidia at $4.72 trillion, Alphabet at $4.29 trillion, Apple at $4.14 trillion, Microsoft at $2.74 trillion, Amazon at $2.59 trillion, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing at $2.36 trillion. Most of these giants saw share price declines in June due to concerns over a memory chip shortage raising costs for AI data centers and consumer devices, though TSMC and SpaceX bucked the trend with gains. Among them, Nvidia is highlighted as the top pick for July, with its stock up only 23.6% over the past year and the lowest forward price-to-earnings ratio of the group, benefiting from AI spending without directly bearing memory chip costs.
